Wyoming Judicial Learning Center

Founder project

The online home of the Judicial Learning Center in the Wyoming Supreme Court building: what the center is, a doorway to its interactive exhibits, and a way for classes to plan a visit.

The idea

The Judicial Learning Center in Cheyenne helps visitors of every age understand Wyoming’s judicial branch and the rule of law. The website does the same job online: it explains the center, opens the way to its interactive exhibits, and helps teachers bring a class.

The approach

A design studio created the visual design. I built it as a WordPress site, turning the studio’s graphic designs into working pages the center can keep up to date.

The experience

The site is organized around four plain paths: Learn, Play, Resources and Contact. Play gathers the center’s online exhibits, including You Be The Judge, where Wyoming judges present real cases, and an interactive map of the state’s court system. Educators can book a group visit straight from the home page.

  • Learn, Play, Resources and Contact paths
  • A gateway to the center’s online exhibits
  • Group visits for educators
