Hazard Quest

Founder project

A website for a group that runs immersive tabletop roleplaying games, with 3D-printed terrain and miniatures, sound and lighting.

The Hazard Quest home page: miniatures on purple-lit 3D-printed terrain beside the headline “Immersive roleplaying games”

The idea

Hazard Quest’s games are physical and theatrical: 3D-printed terrain and miniatures, cinematic lighting and special effects. The website had to carry that atmosphere and show the games off.

The approach

I designed and developed the site in 2022 as a custom WordPress theme. The look leans into the games: dark, saturated and loud, with the group’s videos and photos doing most of the talking.

The experience

Visitors land on a featured video episode, browse a gallery of game sessions, and read showcases of convention adventures such as Heaven’s Void and D&D 1985: An Animated Adventure. An adventure-module library lets other game masters download modules and build immersive games of their own.

  • Featured video episodes
  • Photo gallery of game sessions
  • Convention adventure showcases
  • Downloadable adventure modules
